Project description:
The project includes supplying equipment of Band / Bar Screens related to the Lian desalination plant with capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of seawater intake per day. MGET Co is the contractor of this project and responsible for supplying two set of Bar Screen and two set of Band Screen machines. The machines are supplied from ESLI company the Turkey brand and MGET Co is also responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of the purchased machines.
Cable Operated Bar Screen:
Cable screen are used to hold solids in all kinds of treatment plants. It is suitable for wide and depth channels in accordance with operation. It is preferred in deep channels for the protection of the equipment and increase the efficiency of the system. Allows the coarse or fine screen to be cleaned with time or level adjustment. The scraper bucket, which is moved with one or more ropes according to the size of the system, provides cleaning of the grid through the stripping the solids held on the surface of the screen. The solids material collected by the bucket is transported to the top of the system and automatically discharged to the waste collection container.
Travelling Band Screen:
Band screens are the most efficient means of removing suspended solids for primary wastewater applications for raw water intake and cooling water treatment. The fully automatic operation requires minimal operator intervention resulting in reduced operating costs
